Our lightweight insulated gilet for throwing over layers when the weather can’t quite make up its mind.
Built with a 100% recycled polyester outer and recycled REPREVE® insulation, the Firecrest Gilet adds warmth through the core without weighing you down. A water-repellent finish helps shake off light weather, while zipped hand-warmer pockets and recycled elastic binding keep things practical. Made for early starts, cooler evenings and extra warmth when the day runs into night.

Very light and thin, yet comfortably warm and cosy - it's a good cut piece of clothing, giving a feeling of a warm hug without overdoing it like a puffy winter sport jacket would. Perfect for the one hour cycling commute to work in the cooler months, instead of a full jacket. It even stands a light to medium drizzle very well, to my pleasant surprise!
Really happy I took the trouble to ordering this overseas. (Cudos for the packaging and delivery service.)
Only a front zip chest pocket could improve it (That would be very handy for keeping the phone in reach within hearing distance in those windy conditions :) )
