Our Bristol launch was a milestone moment; going from founder Tom packing up fleeces in a flat above a surf shop to opening our fourth bricks and mortar store, it's been a pretty great ride. Now we're set up at Park Street and settling in, we caught up with our Bristol store manager Laina to see what makes her tick.

You're not originally from Bristol, what made you move there?: Bristol is a great city with lots of opportunities and so much going on. When I finished university it just seemed the right place to move to. I also love the fact it’s only a couple of hours from the coast too.

Best Bristol haunts: I love Victoria Park - we spend a lot of time here in the summer just chilling and having a BBQ with friends. Another great spot is sitting by the Harbourside on a lovely day; it’s great for a few beers and sitting with your feet dangling over the water. There’s loads of great places in Bristol but I have to say some of my favourites are my local pubs!

On your playlist: I love my old soul music but there is a lot I could choose from! But a few others that I’m currently listening to at the moment are.

I Can’t Stand The Rain – Anne Peebles
Everyday People - Arrested Development
Everybody Needs Somebody To Love – Solomon Burke
Sexual Healing – Hot 8 Brass Band
Can’t Rely On You – Paloma Faith

Most worn: I love swimming and bought one of the Econyl bikinis for doing lengths in the pool. The design is fab and I love the fact that the nylon was produced from recycled marine plastics. However, I have just bought the Lufan Cardigan, I love it and have barely taken it off!

Your next adventure plans are...?: Nothing booked yet but I’m itching to do some touring around France in our campervan.

On the Finisterre wish list: Definitely a piece of insulation, I’ve got my eye on a Sastruga! I really like the rucksacks too. I’d have to put an Esam Beanie on there, and some Merino socks. It's hard to choose!
