We’re gearing up for our Bristol shop launch in a couple of weeks, and as you might have seen we’re pretty pumped to be partnering with Origin Coffee in store. Based just down the way from us, we’ve known the guys from Origin for a little while now and have always admired their drive, ethical stance and commitment to excellence. It’s something we align ourselves with when it comes to our own story; here’s why you should be taking note of these Cornish coffee roasters.

We love how Origin have created a local coffee culture, encouraging and educating people about all aspects of coffee, from sourcing to brewing. It’s something we do in our bricks and mortar, giving our customers a space to relax and immerse themselves in the cold water journey.

Ethical Sourcing

Sourcing over 90% of their coffee through direct trade, Origin support their farm and mill partners by paying over and above Fairtrade prices. We think that’s pretty great. Like us, they’re committed to sustainability and value relationships with their growers just as much as we do with our factories, farmers and manufacturers.

Origin aren’t just about making great tasting coffee. They’re about journeying to distant lands and telling stories whilst they do so. Whether it’s telling tales from local villages where their coffee is sourced or weaving a narrative around the journey of the coffee itself, adventure runs deep throughout Origin.

Finisterre are Bristol bound  - swing by for a brew and to check out our latest winter range. Visit us at 70 Park Street from 29th October.
