Still in its first year, Francli is a brand in its infancy but dang these girls have thrown everything at it. Started by two friends Ali and Franki they simultaneously finished work in London and made the move to Cornwall where they spent their university years. Inspired by frequent adventures exploring the Cornish coastline they designed their first capsule collection perfect for the intrepid adventurer and launched Francli Craftwear.

Inspiration comes from the lifestyles of craftspeople who live a rural, healthy and creative life and also by vintage workwear, sportswear and military clothing with its quality and timeless functionality. They want to apply these properties to contemporary workwear for the re-surging trend of craftspeople making with their hands.

The girls have had to make some tough decisions in the first year and are only happy to admit that slightly naive early pricing strategies have meant prices have had to go up whilst trying to remain accessible. The balancing act that many start ups struggle with. Focusing on longevity and durability (ethics we salute) they are excited about the development of what they genuinely feel is a collection of useful products and worthy values, whilst remaining true to themselves and their passion for being outdoors.

They epitomize everything we love about young, innovative entrepreneurs in Cornwall.
