Diana Barnato Walker was one of 168 female members, who served in the Air Transport Auxiliary (ATA), during World War 2. She was a socialite, she apparently partied hard and she delivered Spitfires, by flying them to specific locations throughout World War 2. Is is said, that she would reapply her lipstick, before exiting her plane - this is rock and roll.

The 21st century is filled with some pretty rad ladies and luckily enough, we happen to know one of them - directly, Lesley Prior. Although Lesley doesn't reapply her lipstick after lambing, she is very much - rock and roll. She's bringing back one of the rarest sheep breeds in the world, the Bowmont and we're working closely with her, to make it happen.

On top of this, she's a mom, she has many other fine fibre animals she's raising on her farm and she also works closely with the Campaign for Wool. Which leads us nicely into one of the Campaign for Wools, latest initiatives and it's in the spirit of a bumper sticker/slogan competition. If you want to get involved and find out a bit more about it - read below!!

We love you very much Lesley!!!
