Hey Ern,

Checked into Motel 6 last night to send a couple of pics in time, but internet so shit (no doubt truckers all watching porn) that the email wouldn’t send. I tried loads of times, but it wouldn’t go. Anyhow, just tried again and it seems to have gone this time.

Sorry brother,

Al

No apologies big Al, hilarious email and the images, as usual, are simply beautiful.

So Big Al, ambassador, friend and photographic phenom, took an emergency plane over to the west coast of the states (Northern California) to capture, what is one of the biggest swells to hit the place in years. The international big wave crew has rocked up - stern faces, cold winds, intimidating swell and loads of gear.

Al told us on Monday, that Greg Long, probably the big wave worlds most ferocious charger, said the surfing worlds 100ft wave could be surfed on this swell… so we wait in anticipation.

Beauty images Al, can just imagine the shop, the local boys rocking up, the taste of pumpkin pie and that famous stretch of Highway 1 - feels like we’re there!
