i-Spy Traceability Programme - ecorepel®

The Schoeller ecorepel® finish we’ve used in our Anatis jeans mimics the way water just rolls off duck’s backs without getting them wet. The finish wraps around textile fibres in a thin film that breaks surface tension, so that water droplets and mud simply run off instead of sinking in. The fabric remains breathable and soft.

ecorepel® is fluorocarbon-free, biodegradable, passes Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 and is bluesign® certified.
Made in Britain

We've combined traditional manufacturing techniques with modern technology to revolutionise denim.

In 1860 Blackburn-based Cookson and Clegg started making workwear for coal delivery men. By 1914 they were manufacturing uniforms for the British Army.
History is important to us, equally though, driving innovation and creating technical products with beautiful yet functional fabric is at the heart of Finisterre product, and key to the future of British manufacturing. It's the reason we chose to work with Cookson and Clegg to make our jeans.
